ME: New years: they’re kind of a lot of pressure. To be more, to do more, better yourself…
LAMP: I guess it’s simpler for me. I stand. I light when I’m needed. I have a single purpose and I fulfil it, I don’t have to do quite so much searching.
ME: If you did seek any other purpose, what would it be?
LAMP: I’d love to see the world, roam hills and feel the weather on my face. Not purpose but a different way of being.
LAMP: You know, you needn’t do so much searching. You’re not like me, you don’t have a purpose you need to fulfil for other people, you just get to be. Go feel the weather on your skin. Go create, write, make just for you. Or just sit in silence. You should definitely do that more often. I quite like the company.
